Vernissage

Director

The Tank · PrideFest 2026

By Manning Jordan

Vernissage takes place at an exclusive museum members’ party celebrating culture, where the polished veneer of high society quickly gives way to rowdy, territorial, almost animalistic behavior. As the night spirals, the play uses dark comedy to examine the instincts lurking beneath our carefully constructed social identities.

Presented as part of PrideFest 2026 at The Tank, Lucy Murphy directed the piece as a heightened, physical ensemble work.
